Carol Bove Retrospective Opens at Guggenheim Museum

The Guggenheim Museum is presenting the first comprehensive survey of Carol Bove's work, organized by senior contemporary art curator Katherine Brinson. The exhibition launched on March 5 and continues through August 2. Displayed in reverse chronological order around the museum's rotunda, the show includes early pieces like the 2002 sculpture How People Get Power, which features a shelving unit with books from the late 1960s and early 1970s alongside objects referencing Minimalist principles. The retrospective highlights Bove's engagement with Minimalism and conceptual art traditions.
