Carhartt WIP Collaborates with F.C. Real Bristol on a Capsule Collection Merging Sportswear and Workwear

Carhartt WIP has launched a collaborative capsule collection with F.C. Real Bristol, blending contemporary football aesthetics with workwear heritage. This marks the first partnership between the European brand and the Japanese project, which originated under SOPH. F.C. Real Bristol, established in 1999, is a conceptual football team that reimagines sportswear as everyday apparel, initially inspired by the 2002 World Cup in Japan. The collection features performance-oriented silhouettes reinterpreted in Carhartt WIP's signature colors, including Dusty Hamilton Brown, wax, navy, and black, with co-branded details throughout. Key items include heavy interlock varsity jackets, satin nylon warm-up jackets, breathable jerseys and shorts, and accessories such as fan scarves, socks, canvas hats, a customized ball, and a brown rubber duck—an ironic touch adding surrealism. The campaign, photographed by Theodor Guelat, presents an abstract vision of football, focusing on rituals, emotion, and belonging, reflecting F.C. Real Bristol's fictional team concept and Carhartt WIP's cultural approach to clothing. The collection will be released on April 10 at selected retailers, Carhartt WIP stores, and online, accompanied by global foosball tournaments to create a shared experience. This collaboration highlights Carhartt WIP's ongoing exploration of intersections between workwear, urban culture, and global subcultures.
