Camille Henrot Premieres New Film 'In the Veins' at New Museum After Decade-Long Gap

Artist Camille Henrot is presenting her first new film in nearly ten years, titled 'In the Veins' (2026), at the New Museum's reopening exhibition 'New Humans.' The 35-minute work, developed over five years, explores themes of caregiving and climate crisis through footage of wildlife rehabilitation and children's daily lives. Following its New York premiere, the film will be shown at Luma Arles and Copenhagen Contemporary this summer. Henrot's previous film 'Grosse Fatigue' (2013) earned the Silver Lion at the Venice Biennale and was recognized among the century's top artworks.
