CAMBIO: Castelfiorentino's New Cultural Hub Reshapes Val d'Elsa

Since June 2024, CAMBIO, a cultural center managed by Fondazione Cambiano ETS, has been regenerating Castelfiorentino's historic center. Housed in the renovated 19th-century Cinema Puccini, the 2,000 sqm space across four levels includes exhibition halls, a bookshop, and meeting rooms. Additional spaces opened in late 2025 after restoring adjacent private apartments. The center hosts exhibitions like 'Cento opere dalla Raccolta Alberto Della Ragione. Da Morandi a Vedova' (until September 20, 2026), curated by Sergio Risaliti and Eva Francioli in partnership with Banca Cambiano 1884, featuring works from the Museo Novecento Firenze. It also permanently houses the archive of photographer David Bastianoni, owned by Banca Cambiano 1884, comprising nearly 33,000 works. Director Maria Cristina Giglioli emphasizes the center's role in creating community opportunities and its ambition to serve all Tuscany and Italy.
