Cambi Casa d’Aste to Auction Asian Art Treasures in Milan

Cambi Casa d’Aste will hold its Fine Asian Works of Art auction on July 14 in Milan, featuring 532 lots from private collections. The sale spans Chinese, Japanese, Indian, and Southeast Asian traditions, including ceramics, ritual bronzes, sculptures, paintings, furniture, and decorative objects. The top lot is a rare 24-carat gold Shiva Nataraja figure from late 18th-century India, estimated at €50,000–70,000. Other highlights include a Qing dynasty red lacquered ceremonial altar from the Jiaqing period (1796–1820), estimated at €30,000–50,000; a Famiglia Rosa porcelain vase with birds and cherry blossoms, estimated at €12,000–15,000; a monumental volcanic stone Buddha from 10th-century Java, estimated at €8,000–10,000; a coral Budai figure from the Qing dynasty, estimated at €6,000–8,000; and an eight-panel screen depicting a court scene from the Kangxi reign (1662–1722), estimated at €3,000–5,000.
