Cambi Casa d’Aste presents Fine Design sale with Italian design icons

Cambi Casa d’Aste will hold its Fine Design auction on June 16 at its Milan headquarters in Via San Marco 22, featuring 118 lots of furniture, lighting, and designer objects from 20th-century Italian and international design. Highlights include a rare 1950s game table by Guglielmo Ulrich with a pietre dure chessboard top from a private Milanese residence (lot 23, estimate €6,000–8,000); a marble fireplace by Atelier Rebechi from around 1950 with inlay decorations (lot 57, estimate €8,000–12,000); a Fontana Arte suspension lamp model 1462 designed by Max Ingrand and Duilio Bernabè (lot 61, estimate €5,000–6,000); a Fontana Arte table lamp model 1815 by Max Ingrand (lot 64, estimate €15,000–20,000); a Daino Porta Champagne in hand-chiseled gilt brass by Gabriella Crespi (lot 85, estimate €3,000–4,000); and a unique Nobody’s Perfect low table by Gaetano Pesce from the Miami Collection, exhibited at the Wolfsonian-FIU Museum (lot 115, estimate €15,000–20,000).
