Cambi Casa d’Aste Announces Fashion Vintage and Photography Auctions in Milan

Cambi Casa d’Aste will hold two auctions in Milan on June 16: Fashion Vintage at 10 AM and Fotografia at 2 PM. The Fashion Vintage sale features luxury handbags from Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Gucci, and Yves Saint Laurent. Highlights include a 2023 Hermès Birkin Sellier 30 in mat alligator Beton (estimate €60,000–70,000), a 2022 Hermès Kelly To Go in mat alligator graphite (€18,000–22,000), a rare Louis Vuitton trunk from the Takashi Murakami collaboration (€5,000–6,000), a Chanel Timeless 28 (€5,000–6,000), and a Christian Dior Lady D bag created with artist Jason Martin (€3,500–5,000). The Fotografia auction spans over 150 years of photography, featuring a rare embroidered cloth album with about 40 photographs by Sanshichiro Yamamoto from 1890–1910 depicting Japan and China (lot 9, €8,000–10,000), an Audrey Hepburn portrait by Gian Paolo Barbieri from 1969 in a numbered edition of ten printed in 1993 (lot 29, €3,000–4,000), and Yousuf Karsh's portrait of Ernest Hemingway from Lumina Fine Photography & Art, New York (lot 46, €2,000–3,000).
