Bruce Weber's Visual Memoir Exhibition Opens at Fahey/Klein Gallery

The Fahey/Klein Gallery showcases Bruce Weber: Try a Little Tenderness, an exhibition that serves as a visual memoir highlighting the photographer's key influences. This display utilizes decades of Weber's photographic creations to illuminate the emotional and artistic journey that shaped his unique perspective. Hailing from Greensburg, Pennsylvania, Weber's artistic beginnings were rooted in his home, where he crafted drawings and 8mm films alongside his father and sister. At twelve, the gift of an Argus C3 35mm camera fueled his ambition to capture intimate moments beyond his backyard. Initially studying theater at Denison University, he later redirected his passion toward photography. The exhibition emphasizes the role of family, friendship, mentorship, love, collaboration, and personal experiences in an artist's development.
