Independent publisher Broccoli Publishers has released 'Heartbeat,' a new print magazine focused on sound and music. The publication, described as 'time agnostic,' emphasizes enduring narratives rather than current trends, featuring stories about underrepresented histories and global perspectives. The debut issue includes articles on topics such as record collectors in São Paulo, the history of hearing aids, Michigan's 2000s punk scene, Suzanne Ciani's 1970s work with the Buchla synthesizer, and Additional Dialogue Recording artists.
