Bridie Gillman's 'Land marks' Exhibition at Hugo Michell Gallery in 2026

Bridie Gillman's exhibition 'Land marks' will be presented at Hugo Michell Gallery from March 12 to April 11, 2026. The Brisbane-based multidisciplinary artist creates work informed by place, memory, and experience. Her practice translates everyday observations from Yogyakarta, Indonesia into colorful landmarks that guide navigation through the city. One featured piece, 'Banana flower, in pieces' (2026), is an oil on linen painting measuring 137 × 107cm. Gillman's process captures both fleeting moments and studied observations from daily life in Jogja.
