Brasília's Museu Nacional da República Hosts Two Simultaneous Bienal de São Paulo Exhibitions
On April 9, 2026, the Museu Nacional da República in Brasília will host two significant exhibitions organized by the Fundação Bienal de São Paulo, with public access available from April 10 through May 31. This marks Brazil's inaugural participation in the Venice Architecture Biennale, which will travel across the country. One of the exhibitions, titled 'Nem todo viandante anda estradas – Da humanidade como prática,' is curated by Bonaventure Soh Bejeng Ndikung and André Pitol, showcasing artists such as Akinbode Akinbiyi and Myriam Omar Awadi. The second exhibition, '(RE)INVENÇÃO,' focuses on Amazonian ancestral coexistence and is curated by Luciana Saboia, Eder Alencar, and Matheus Seco. Sesc DF will present the educational program, and the 36th Bienal is set to tour more than ten cities in 2026.
