Bottega Veneta's 'Il Mio' Campaign Unveils Five Handbags Including Miniatures

Bottega Veneta's creative director, Louise Trotter, has introduced the 'Il Mio' handbag campaign, captured by photographer Drew Vickers. This collection showcases five bags inspired by the brand's archives, featuring smaller versions of iconic designs: 'Mini Andiamo', 'Small Campana', 'Small Barbara Tote', 'Small Lauren 1980' pouch, and 'Madison'. The 'Mini Andiamo' brings back a metal knot emblem from the 1970s, first introduced by former creative director Matthieu Blazy. Named after actress Lauren Bacall, the 'Small Lauren 1980' was seen in the 1980 film 'American Gigolo'. The 'Madison' pays homage to Bottega Veneta's inaugural store on Madison Avenue, New York. Models Chu Wong, Selena Forrest, and Sihana Shalaj feature in the campaign, which Trotter describes as reflecting 'sensuality and brutalism', a contrast she associates with her life in Milan. The bags are envisioned as 'companions for life', meant to be cherished and handed down through generations.
