Blue Crow Media releases Modern Rome Map guide to 20th-century architecture

Blue Crow Media has published the Modern Rome Map, a guide to over 50 examples of 20th-century architecture in the city. Edited by architect and author Jacopo Costanzo, with photography by Stefano Perego, the folded map is part of a series that includes guides to Brutalist Boston and Concrete Montreal. The map highlights works by Luigi Pellegrin, Renato Valle, Saverio Busiri Vici, Francesco Palpacelli, Giorgio Romaro, Sir Basil Spence, Luigi Moretti, Pier Luigi Nervi, Kay Fisker, and Riccardo Morandi. Notable buildings include Liceo-ITIS Alessandro Volta Roma (1983), Aqua-Blue Building (1958), Chiesa di Santa Maria della Visitazione (1971), Centro Idrico Eur (1989), British Embassy in Rome (1971), Accademia di Danimarca (1967), and Ponte Morandi (1968). The map covers both central Rome and its suburbs, featuring contemporary churches, public infrastructure, and large-scale housing by Carlo Aymonino, Mario De Renzi, and Studio Passarelli.
