Bitter Spring Group Exhibition at Mara Projects in London Explores Dualities of Healing and Harm

Mara Projects in London presents the group exhibition 'Bitter Spring' from March 5 to 12, 2026. The show is held at a former whisky store at 17B Kingsland Road in Shoreditch. Curated by Lisja Tershana, the exhibition features works by seven artists: Bora Baboçi, Ben Grosse-Johannboecke, Inés Cardó, Felix Murphy, Edoardo Rito, Kairi Tokoro, and Renid Tosuni. The exhibition's concept draws from the ancient Greek term 'pharmakon,' which signifies both poison and remedy, exploring paradoxical themes of healing and harm. The artworks include paintings, sculptures, kinetic installations, and moving images, with each artist contributing pieces that reflect on natural forces, memory, and ritual practices.
