Bethlem Museum of the Mind Presents 'Kindred' Exhibition on Mental Health and Community

The Bethlem Museum of the Mind in Beckenham, South London, is hosting a temporary exhibition titled 'Kindred: The Loneliness of Suffering and the Community of Lived Experience' from January 16 to June 27, 2026. The show explores themes of group therapy and support networks through artworks by multiple artists, including Tracie Hodge, Rozanne Hawksley, Gareth McConnell, Mud, and Annabel Merrett. The museum, which focuses on mental wellbeing through art and history, is also lending works by Victorian artist Richard Dadd to a Royal Academy exhibition in July 2026. Admission to 'Kindred' is free, with the museum open Wednesday through Saturday.
