Auktionshaus am Grunewald, founded in 2023 by Lena Winter and Sebastian Greber in Berlin, has carved a niche by offering artworks from €100, attracting first-time buyers. The auction house, located in northern Charlottenburg, emphasizes accessibility and a relaxed atmosphere, contrasting with traditional houses. Its fifth auction achieved €1.75 million, with a record €46,260 for a Cruz-Diez piece and a world record €43,690 for a Roy Lichtenstein graphic. About 80% of lots sold, with 395 of 1,400 items going to international buyers in Shanghai, New York, São Paulo, Madrid, Vienna, and Paris. Three works entered museums. The team of five maintains high professionalism, with buyer's premium at 34% and seller's at 24%. The next auction is scheduled for September 18.
