Berkshire Museum Names Aquarium After Feigenbaum Foundation Grant

In Pittsfield, Massachusetts, the Berkshire Museum has revealed a grant from the Feigenbaum Foundation aimed at enhancing its newly enlarged aquarium, which will be named the Feigenbaum Aquarium. Following a comprehensive renovation, both the museum and aquarium are set to open on July 29. The revamped aquarium is almost double the size of the former one and has been moved to a prominent location on the first floor. It will showcase a variety of terrestrial and aquatic creatures, such as Caribbean reef octopuses, epaulette sharks, moon jellyfish, and tortoises. The larger facility will facilitate live-animal interactions, educational initiatives, and events focused on biodiversity and environmental stewardship. Kimberley Bush Tomio, the museum's executive director, remarked on the aquarium's long-standing popularity. The Feigenbaum Foundation has maintained a strong relationship with the museum.
