Ben Graetz appointed Artistic Director of Darwin Festival
Ben Graetz has been named the next Artistic Director of the Darwin Festival. A native of Larrakia Country (Darwin), Graetz is set to return to his roots to oversee the 2027 festival and steer it towards its 50th anniversary in 2029. This announcement coincided with a week that featured the appointment of a new Chair at the Biennale of Sydney and the addition of two new executives to Creative Victoria.
