Bellissimo Studio Creates Visual Identity for Lavazza's Sustainable Tablì Coffee System

In November 2025, the Turin-based design studio Bellissimo developed the visual identity for Lavazza's new Tablì coffee system. The product was first presented during Milan Design Week in 2025. Tablì represents an environmentally conscious alternative to traditional single-use coffee capsules, utilizing compostable tabs composed entirely of ground coffee without any plastic or foil components. The design approach emphasizes clarity and sustainability while maintaining Italian aesthetic principles. The visual system centers on the tab's shape as a key organizational element, ensuring immediate product recognition. A crisp white background features the Lavazza and Tablì branding, with distinct color blocks differentiating various coffee blends. Typography incorporates an accent mark that changes color to signify product variations, paired with a black-and-white palette and Lavazza's characteristic gold tones. This design language extends consistently across the coffee machine, tabs, and accessories, creating a unified visual ecosystem. The collaboration between Lavazza and Bellissimo builds on their long-term partnership, which previously included the redesign of the Qualità Oro product line. The Tablì system aims to modernize home coffee rituals by combining sustainable innovation with traditional Italian heritage as it prepares for international distribution.
