Beaux Arts’ Top 10 Venice Spots for the 2026 Biennale

Beaux Arts magazine has published a curated list of ten recommended addresses in Venice for visitors during the 2026 Venice Biennale, which runs until November 22. The guide covers accommodations, dining, bookshops, galleries, and artisan shops, emphasizing authentic experiences away from tourist traps. Highlights include Il Palazzo Experimental hotel on the Giudecca Canal with Memphis-inspired design; Sullaluna, an independent bookshop-café in Cannaregio; and Il Paradiso Perduto, a lively tavern on Fondamenta Cannaregio known for generous plates and cultural events. The list also features the Negropontes gallery, which since 2024 has occupied the Palazzina Masieri, a space designed by architect Carlo Scarpa and restored after being closed since 1996. Other entries include Legatoria Piazzesi, a historic bookbinding workshop founded in 1851 in San Marco; Al Remer restaurant with Grand Canal views and acclaimed tiramisu; Garance & Marion, an illustration gallery run by two French expatriates in Cannaregio; Papier Mâché, an artisan mask shop with an on-site workshop; Alberta Pane gallery in a former carpentry workshop in Dorsoduro, currently featuring feminist artist Judy Chicago; and Laguna B, a contemporary Murano glass shop founded by designer Marie Brandolini in Dorsoduro.
