Barbara Gladstone Estate Sale, CFDA/Vogue Finalists, Gehry Posthumous Show
On June 9, Sotheby's will hold an auction featuring 140 items from the estate of the late gallerist Barbara Gladstone, with a projected total of $6.9–10 million. Among the pieces is Richard Prince's Medusa (2003), valued at $800,000–1.2 million, alongside works by Yayoi Kusama and Jean Prouvé. The CFDA and Vogue have revealed ten finalists for the 2026 Fashion Fund, with presentations commencing on June 10 and the winner to be announced on October 20. Additionally, Prada Mode's Satellites II will take place at Hotel Chelsea from June 3–7. Frank Gehry's exhibition 'The Century of Gehry' opens at Porto's Serralves Museum on June 12, while Doug Aitken's Lightscape installation will be at The Shed from June 25 to September 13. The Centre Pompidou Hanwha will debut in Seoul on June 4.
