Bank of England Adjusts Publication Schedule for Economic Data Reports

The Bank of England has announced modifications to the release schedule for two key economic reports: the Decision Maker Panel data and the Agents' summary of business conditions. These adjustments are designed to prevent these publications from coinciding with the release of the Monetary Policy Report. For months when the Monetary Policy Report is issued, the Decision Maker Panel data will now be published on the Friday preceding the report's release. In other months, its publication shifts from Thursday to Friday. The Agents' summary of business conditions will be published on the Friday before each Monetary Policy Committee announcement, regardless of whether it is a Monetary Policy Report month. The Decision Maker Panel is a monthly survey gathering insights from Chief Financial Officers across UK businesses of various sizes. The Agents' summary compiles intelligence from the Bank's regional agents, which is reviewed by the Monetary Policy Committee ahead of its meetings. This scheduling change aims to streamline the dissemination of economic information.
