Bagri Foundation Launches Springboard Programme with Nomin Zezegmaa Solo Show During Frieze Week
The Bagri Foundation is set to introduce a new curatorial initiative named Springboard during Frieze Week in October 2026, aimed at helping Asian artists with their first solo exhibitions in the UK. Kicking off this program is Mongolian artist Nomin Zezegmaa, whose work will be showcased at St Cyprian’s Church in London from October 10 to 24, 2026. Curated by Chelsea Pettitt, the exhibition will feature a newly created sound piece, large paintings, sculptures, and an installation of blue silk prayer scarves inspired by the church’s design. Zezegmaa’s art is influenced by Mongolian traditions, particularly the Urtiin Duu, and incorporates materials like horsehair and copper. The event will also include a series of public performances and workshops related to Mongolian culture.
