Bad Bunny Makes History as First Latin Artist to Headline UK Stadium

Bad Bunny, the Puerto Rican rapper whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, became the first Latin artist to headline a UK stadium on Saturday night, performing to about 50,000 fans at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. The setlist was dominated by the album DTMF, which won album of the year at the Grammy Awards in February as the first entirely Spanish-language album to do so. Bad Bunny addressed the crowd mostly in Spanish and paid tribute to Venezuela following devastating earthquakes, saying, 'All Latinos around the world stand in solidarity with you.' The tour has been interpreted as a promotion of multiculturalism, and Bad Bunny has said he will not include US dates due to concerns about ICE targeting his fans. Colombian singer Karol G is set to play the same venue next summer.
