Athena Calderone unveils Tribeca apartment and furniture line in Architectural Digest feature

Athena Calderone recently revealed her newly renovated Tribeca apartment, featured in Architectural Digest's April issue. The property was previously owned by French architect Thierry Despont, known for work on the Statue of Liberty and Ritz Paris. Calderone's two-year renovation coincided with the launch of her design firm, Studio Athena Calderone, and her debut furniture collection. A housewarming party was hosted in partnership with The Future Perfect, attended by Architectural Digest's global editorial director Amy Astley. Notable guests included supermodel Ashley Graham, Martha Stewart, designer Nate Berkus, fashion figures Maria McManus and Francisco Costa, and design editors Kate Berry and Alyssa Kapito. The event showcased Calderone's furniture pieces throughout the home, with guests exploring spaces including a recording studio, walk-in closet, and media room. Calderone wore a bronze silk maxi dress by Heirlome while hosting, with Veuve Clicquot champagne served in the bathroom tub. The apartment represents Calderone's follow-up to her influential Brooklyn townhouse that became popular on Pinterest.
