Atelier Bingo Designs Label for Avignonesi's 2016 Vino Nobile Late Release
Avignonesi, a biodynamic vineyard located in Montepulciano, Tuscany, has unveiled 9,000 bottles of its 2016 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano as part of its Late Release initiative, each adorned with designs by Atelier Bingo. This vintage, crafted entirely from Sangiovese grapes, has been aged for several years in the bottle. Previous releases featured artwork by Amrita Marino for 2014 and Carlo Stanga for 2015. For the 2016 edition, Avignonesi partnered with Bonvini 1909 to engage Atelier Bingo, established by Adèle Favreau and Maxime Prou, who visited the estate in April 2026 for inspiration. The label art reflects the Tuscan hills and abstract shapes in a variety of hues. Daniele Carlini, CMO of Avignonesi, commended the artwork's tangible quality, seeking to integrate wine into a wider creative context.
