Aspekt Office Redesigns Ø12 Café in Copenhagen with Custom Nordic Design
Aspekt Office, a studio established in 2018 in Copenhagen by Hans Toft Hornemann and Terkel Skou Steffensen, undertook a redesign of the Ø12 café at the request of its founder and CEO, Kasper Cordes. This renovation introduces adaptable areas for a range of activities, incorporating bespoke benches, tables, and a bar section. Enhanced textures, finishes, and lighting contribute to a sense of depth and movement, complemented by new flooring and a soothing ceiling. While the bar injects energy into the environment, quieter spaces promote tranquility. The lighting is optimized for social media aesthetics. Emphasizing Nordic design principles, the revamped interior prioritizes comfort and efficiency. The project was finalized by September 17, 2025, embodying Ø12's philosophy of 'adding a spark to the ordinary.'
