Artists Install Site-Specific Works at Hong Kong's Peninsula Hotel During Art Week

Three artists have created site-specific installations at The Peninsula Hong Kong as part of the annual Art in Resonance program. Angel Hui, Albert Yonathan Setyawan, and William Lim have works displayed from the beginning of Hong Kong Art Week through early May. Hui's piece features embroidered goldfish imagery on plastic bags and architectural elements, referencing local markets. Setyawan's installation consists of hundreds of ceramic components arranged in patterns within a circular structure, curated by the V&A's Louis Copplestone. Lim collaborated with carpet artisans to transform a painting into a textile intervention in the hotel's café. The program enables artists to produce large-scale new works that transform familiar spaces.
