Art&Job Academy in Verbania Trains Young Artists for Social and Therapeutic Work

Established in Verbania in 2022, the Art&Job Academy focuses on preparing individuals aged 20 to 30 for careers in art that emphasize social change. Its slogan, "We are looking for 20 young artists to change the world," reflects its mission. Directed by Francesca Amat and curated by AbbracciArti, the program spans eight months, from November to June, featuring a blend of online learning, weekend workshops, and practical experiences. The upcoming fifth edition will commence in November 2026, with the application deadline set for October 20. The academy offers 20 spots, requiring a 650-euro fee and an online application. Alumni have initiated various workshops and projects, including "Un posto dove sto bene" and contributions to the Alessandro Mendini exhibition.
