Skarstedt Gallery sold George Condo's Figure on a Red Field for $700,000 and Barbara Kruger's Look for the Moment When Pride Becomes Contempt for $600,000. David Salle's Pontiac went for $275,000. Van de Weghe Gallery sold a Rudolf Stingel painting for $2.3 million, a 1989 Donald Judd for $700,000, and a 1965 David Hockney drawing for $100,000. Marc Selwyn Gallery sold a 1969 Mel Bochner drawing to an American collector for $300,000. Thaddaeus Ropac sold a 2016 Jack Pierson for $200,000, a 2013 Antony Gormley cast iron for $175,000, and Alex Katz's 2016 Dog Wood for $550,000. Hauser & Wirth sold a Mark Bradford for $2 million, and Gagosian sold Andreas Gursky's SH III for €500,000. The atmosphere was noted as less dynamic than previous years.
