Franco-Iranian pianist Arshid Azarine unveiled his new jazz album titled Trio + Guests Live on April 24, 2026. The recording was produced under the Ohrwurm Records label and captured during a live session in Paris in 2025. Azarine, who works professionally as a cardiovascular radiologist, explores musical themes of flow and turbulence, blending contemporary jazz with Persian influences. He is joined by drummer Habib Meftah and bassist Hervé de Ratuld, forming the core trio. Guest artists on the album include vocalists Golsa and actress Golshifteh Farahani. The project is described as an organic work dedicated to freedom in Iran, emphasizing borderless musical expression. An animated music video for the track 'Abann' by Sarah Tabibzadeh accompanies the album's launch. The release is available in both vinyl and digital formats.
