Arianna Ellero's 'Movimento Incessante' Exhibition at Mestna Galerija Nova Gorica

Mestna Galerija Nova Gorica is presenting 'Movimento Incessante,' a solo exhibition by artist Arianna Ellero from March 6 to April 10, 2026. The show features a collection of paintings created over the past decade, accompanied by a text from Daniele Capra and a sound composition titled 'The Suncrows Fall And Tree' by Stefano Pilia. Ellero's work explores process-based painting focused on color, gesture, and materiality, creating what she describes as 'pictorial events' that examine the relationship between image, perception, and representation. The exhibition draws connections to historical art movements while maintaining a non-representational approach that functions as 'pictorial seismographs' recording psychological states. Ellero's artistic practice began in Berlin and has developed through interdisciplinary collaborations with musicians, earning her several awards including the Exibart Prize and Premio Lynx.
