Architektura Designs Jevany Villa in Forest Setting with Dual-Facade Concept

Architecture firm Architektura has completed the Jevany Villa, a residential project located in a forested area with views of a lake. The villa, designed by architects David Kraus and Miroslav Styk, was constructed in 2025 and occupies a 218-square-meter architectural footprint on a 3,027-square-meter plot. The design responds to the sloping terrain and existing natural features including fir trees, wildlife, and sunlight patterns. Curated by Hadir Al Koshta, the project features a unique dual appearance: from the street, it appears as a single-story structure that seems small and concealed, while from the garden side, it reveals itself as a two-story building that is open and spacious. Vehicles are parked on the roof. The layout follows the land's incline and client requirements, with a central staircase core connecting west and east wings designated for daytime and nighttime zones. The architectural concept emphasizes a visual axis and descent toward the forest landscape, using complementary green and red colors. The villa is described as an organism that integrates into the woodland environment. Structural engineering was handled by Kateřina Ryvolová, interior design by Jan Waltr, and construction by contractor Radek Trojánek.
