AnOther Magazine Celebrates 25 Years with Selfridges Talk

AnOther Magazine marked its 25th anniversary with a special conversation at Selfridges in London on Tuesday evening. Editor-in-chief Susannah Frankel and fashion director Katie Shillingford were interviewed by Dazed executive editor Jack Sunnucks in the Selfridges cinema and bar. The discussion covered the magazine's history, thematic issues (Memory, Epic, Monster), and the 50th issue's theme of Kinship, featuring returning cover stars Solange and Pamela Anderson. Covers dedicated to Chanel, Givenchy, Comme des Garçons, Gucci, and Prada highlighted long-term designer relationships. Frankel described AnOther as "rebellious and sexy," while Shillingford emphasized challenging conventions beautifully. Frankel recounted early days with two landlines, juggling calls from Marc Jacobs and Tom Ford, and a year-long profile of Karl Lagerfeld for the 15th anniversary.
