At the Tokyo premiere, Hathaway donned Valentino spring 2026 couture, while Meryl Streep wore Matthieu Blazy's Chanel. Walsh, who has collaborated with Hathaway since 2019, draws on her experience working at Vogue under Phyllis Posnick during the original film's release, describing it as watching a documentary. The stylist plans to incorporate cerulean blue and clever suiting takes to reflect Andy's evolution as a journalist 20 years later. Concurrently, Walsh is also dressing Hathaway for the 'Mother Mary' press tour, requiring differentiation between the two projects. The tour continues throughout the month, emphasizing joy, irreverence, and empowerment through fashion.
