Anna Walinska's Artistic Circle Reunites at The Art Students League of New York
From February 18 to May 24, The Art Students League of New York presents Anna Walinska and Her Circle at its 215 W 57th St Suite 1 Lobby Gallery in New York City. Assistant Curator Esther V. Moerdler organized the show, which showcases Walinska's diverse output across drawing, collage, painting, portraiture, and abstraction. Works by Milton Avery, Chaim Gross, Louise Nevelson, and Raphael Soyer are included, alongside pieces by instructors Frank Vincent DuMond and Raymond Neilson, illustrating mutual influences. Walinska's niece Rosina Rubin, who serves as archivist, curator, and estate standard bearer, expressed excitement about the artist's return to where her career began.
