Anna Onesti's Aerial Paper Kites Exhibition Opens at Athens' Triton & Shell

Italian visual artist Anna Onesti presents her solo exhibition 'Paper Clouds / Paper Kites' at the Triton & Shell – Paper Art Hub in Athens. The exhibition, opening on February 4, 2026, features flying sculptures made from traditional Japanese washi and Korean hanji mulberry paper. Onesti's work combines historical kite-making techniques from East Asia with Mediterranean cultural traditions, particularly aligning with Greece's Clean Monday kite-flying custom. The non-profit venue, dedicated to handmade paper, is hosting its first solo artist exhibition, accompanied by public programs including workshops and lectures on paper dyeing and kite construction.
