Anna Egle and Ieva Putniņa Present 'Power Station' at Kim? Contemporary Art Centre in Riga

Kim? Contemporary Art Centre in Riga has launched its 2026 exhibition program with 'Power Station,' a collaborative exhibition by artists Anna Egle and Ieva Putniņa. The show, curated by Zane Onckule, runs from January 24 to March 1, 2026. This marks the first major joint project for the two artists, who share a long-standing friendship. For Putniņa, it is her debut at the institution, while for Egle, it represents her most significant presentation there to date. The exhibition features new large-format paintings and sculptures, exploring themes of creative dialogue, connection to natural processes, and personal energy. A public program accompanies the exhibition, including meditation sessions, poetry workshops, and painting activities. The project is supported by the Latvian Ministry of Culture, the State Culture Capital Foundation, the Riga City Council, and Media Port.
