Amber Davies ejects audience member for filming Legally Blonde

Amber Davies, star of Legally Blonde The Musical, called out an audience member for filming during a performance at Dublin's Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. The ex-Love Island winner posted a video on Instagram Stories during the interval of the Saturday night show, stating that a woman in the front row had been filming the entirety of act one, distracting the cast. Davies said she asked staff to remove the woman for act two. Production company Royo declined to comment. Davies, who won Love Island in 2017 and has since performed in musicals including Pretty Woman and 9 to 5, reminded viewers not to film at the theatre, noting that several audience members had been filming in Ireland that week. She ended the 54-second video by saying she would go and do act two. The incident follows a similar one last month when Rosamund Pike criticized an audience member for texting during a play at Wyndham's Theatre in London's West End.
