Amal Clooney Launches Justice Scholarships in Malawi With Clooney Foundation
Earlier this month, Amal Clooney traveled to Malawi to unveil a collaboration between the Clooney Foundation for Justice and the Malawian Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Gender, focused on enhancing justice for women and children. Throughout her week-long stay, she wore a variety of outfits, such as a yellow jersey dress, an emerald green cotton dress, a white fitted dress, and a tan blazer paired with black pants. The initiative will provide scholarships for women and girls aspiring to enter the legal field and supply technology to the Gender-Based Violence and Child Crimes Unit. Additionally, a program with the University of Malawi will grant scholarships to 30 girls for law school and establish a fellowship for emerging lawyers. Clooney expressed her pride in initiating the Scholarship Programme.
