Alexandria Gallery Expands from Cleveland Pop-Up to Global Force

Alexandria Gallery, founded by Irina Falberg, has grown from a nonprofit pop-up initiative into a permanent gallery space in Woodmere, Ohio, representing over 50 artists from more than 30 countries. The gallery's ethos centers on accessibility, rejecting the traditional white cube model and instead emphasizing art for everyone. Rather than specializing in specific mediums or periods, Alexandria Gallery bases its exhibitions on the strength of individual works. Notable artists include Zoe Sever, currently featured in the solo show "Take a Tour of Kaleidoscopic Cityscapes" through August 31; Olivia de Rossi, whose work defies aesthetic categories by moving between representation and abstraction; and Fausto Perez, who creates vibrant landscapes blending Salvadoran visual traditions with contemporary sensibility. The gallery also produces affordable artist prints, educational programs, artist talks, and initiatives connecting literature with fine art by inviting writers to respond to artworks. By fostering dialogue and exchange, Alexandria Gallery aims to broaden access to art and challenge exclusivity in the art world.
