Alexandra Baudelot Appointed Director of CCC OD in Tours

Alexandra Baudelot has been named the new director of the Centre de Création Contemporaine - Olivier Debré (CCC OD) in Tours, taking over from Isabelle Reiher. This appointment, approved by French Culture Minister Catherine Pégard, followed a jury meeting on April 27, 2026. At 54 years old, Baudelot will lead the CACIN-designated art center, which has been housed in a building designed by Aires Mateus since 2017. The center merges contemporary art with the heritage of painter Olivier Debré (1920-1999). Baudelot previously founded Rosascape in 2009, co-directed Les Laboratoires d'Aubervilliers in 2013, and was the artistic director at Fondation Fiminco in 2019. Her initiative for CCC OD, titled "Faire mondes : le CCC-OD, un écosystème vivant," seeks to connect with Debré's art and explore wider themes. The center welcomed 34,321 visitors in its 2024 report.
