Acting tutor Alexander Westwood jailed for raping teenage student Oliwia Wudarowicz

In February 2025, Alexander Westwood, known for his role in Netflix's Sex Education, received a prison sentence of 15 and a half years for committing 26 sexual offences against five victims, four of whom were minors. One victim, Oliwia Wudarowicz, who was 16 when the abuse started, revealed that the assault shattered her aspirations of becoming an actress. Westwood, hailing from Albrighton, Shropshire, began providing her lessons in December 2020, during which he sexually exploited her under the pretense of instruction. Although Wudarowicz reported the abuse in August 2021, the investigation was initially closed but reopened in April 2023 as more victims came forward. During sentencing in November 2024, Judge Neil Chawla remarked on Westwood's manipulation of his position to target young girls. Now 21, Wudarowicz has left acting and shares her experiences on Instagram.
