Two watercolor portraits by 19th century Italian artist Ernesto Levorati have been documented following their appearance at auction. The works, titled 'Two Framed Watercolor Portraits of Children,' were sold through Bonham's in 2024 and are currently held in a private collection. Each piece measures 12 by 8 inches (30 by 20 cm). The portraits feature a delicate application of paint, possibly using a dry brush technique, resulting in a soft textural quality that complements the subjects' expressions. The auction price for the pair was reported to be in the low hundreds of dollars.
