A 1777 edition of the New Testament printed by Edward Draper of Boston sold for $199,500 at an auction conducted by John McInnis Auctioneers. The sale took place virtually on March 15th from Newburyport as part of the estate of Peter Hickey. Auctioneer John McInnis noted the result exceeded expectations, attributing it to high bidder interest and competitive bidding among 700 registered participants. The leather-bound volume measured approximately 7 by 4.5 inches and was described as being in fair condition.
