Zürich Contemporary Art Weekend 2014 Showcases Galleries, Installations, and Public Art
The Zürich Contemporary Art Weekend took place on 14–15 June 2014, showcasing gallery openings alongside public art displays. At Gregor Staiger gallery, Nicolas Party presented 'Pastel', while BolteLang featured works by Charlotte Herzig, Tobias Spichtig, and Henning Strassburger. Clare Goodwin exhibited 'Bradford’s Jolly' at Christinger De Mayo, and Thomas Chapman showcased 'Flow' in Florian Christopher's apartment-showroom. Kunsthalle Zurich presented Haim Steinbach's 'Once Again the World Is Flat', which included the 1983 piece 'Shelf with Picnic Set'. RaebervonStenglin inaugurated a second location. Gasträume 2014 displayed installations like David Renggli's 'Sorry – Irgend – Ueben' and Matt Mullican's '5 Worlds 12 Benches'.
