Zurich Art Weekend 2023 launches sixth edition with 73 venues and 80+ exhibitions

The sixth edition of Zurich Art Weekend is set to take place from June 9-11, 2023, featuring an impressive lineup of 73 venues, over 80 exhibitions, and more than 100 complimentary events such as vernissages, talks, performances, and guided tours. Among the key exhibitions is 'Re-Orientations: Europe and Islamic Art' at Kunsthaus Zurich, displaying 170 artworks, alongside Paul Mpagi Sepuya's 'PUSH/PULL' at Galerie Peter Kilchmann. Additional highlights include still-life paintings by Deborah-Joyce Holman at Galerie Gregor Staiger and the 'Diplome 23' exhibition at Zurich University of the Arts. Noteworthy events include a panel discussion on June 10 at Luma Westbau and Christopher Kulendran Thomas at Kunsthalle Zurich. Mirabaud leads the initiative, with support from Zurich Tourism and others, to enhance democratic access to art.
