ZUM/IMS 2026 Photobook Open Call Now Accepting Submissions

ZUM Magazine and the Photography Library at IMS Paulista have opened the Photobook Open Call ZUM/IMS 2026, accepting publications released from October 2025 onward. Free to enter and open internationally, the call seeks to deepen the Instituto Moreira Salles' engagement with contemporary photobook production. Submissions must arrive by September 26, 2026, either mailed to Avenida Paulista, 2424, São Paulo/SP, Brazil, or delivered in person to the IMS Paulista Photography Library. Selected photobooks will be exhibited during the ZUM Festival in November 2026 and displayed at the IMS Photography Library. Each selected publication receives R$300; a commission of external guests and IMS members will award R$2,000 to the three best. All submitted books (including non-selected) will be added to the IMS Photography Library collection unless authors request withdrawal within 30 days. Dummies are not accepted. The call, established in 2017, aims to connect photographers, publishers, designers, and the public.
