Zordan Museum: A New Paradigm for Company Museums in Europe

The Zordan Museum, a new company museum in the Agno Valley (Vicenza Prealps), redefines the traditional company museum model by focusing on processes, design function, and sustainability rather than iconic products. Curated by Marco Montemaggi, the museum is housed in the company's new facility and designed by architect Alessandro Basso across three rooms: Timeline, Wunderkammer, and Art for Sustainability. Timeline documents the brand's history and local development through research involving journalists and experts. Wunderkammer, directed by Francesca Molteni, offers an immersive experience with a video installation 'People/Planet' and a tactile object for visitors. Art for Sustainability is a biennial space addressing sustainability through art, inaugurated by photographer Elisabetta Zavoli with 'Ti faccio vedere con gli occhi chiusi' (curated by Denis Curti) on climate change, followed by '(Neo) Nature' curated by Cristiana Colli featuring Davide Piro, Sara Rombaldoni, and Andrea Valzania from the Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Artistiche di Urbino, focusing on innovative, animal-free production with positive climate impact, adopted by B Corp Miomojo. Zordan is a leader in sustainable luxury retail fit-outs.
