Zineb Sedira's Cinematic Journey at Cultural Foundation Abu Dhabi
From October 3, 2024, until March 8, 2025, the Cultural Foundation Abu Dhabi will showcase Zineb Sedira's exhibition titled 'A way of surviving, a way of life…'. This exhibition includes four films created between 2002 and 2022, highlighting the acclaimed 'Dreams Have No Titles' (2022), which debuted at the French Pavilion during the 59th Venice Biennale. Born in 1963 to Algerian parents, Sedira delves into themes of identity, memory, and diaspora through her personal stories. A notable installation replicates a full-scale cinema box. Additional works featured are 'mise-en-scène' (2019), 'Image Keepers' (2010), and 'Mother Tongue' (2002). Admission to the exhibition is free for all visitors.
